We identify market opportunities within a sector which is in need of reform and failing to meet customer expectations. We quickly develop leading consumer propositions utilising our business platform and then scale to become market leaders.
Car Hire Insurance
Car hire excess insurance was the first market we identified was in need of reform. Most customers were forced to buy expensive insurance from the rental companies so we knew we could offer simple products online at a much lower price.
Over the last 6 years we have developed a number of online consumer friendly products to improve the cost and ease of purchasing car hire excess in the UK and 5 international sites.
All our websites are very easy to use and are mobile optimised, we have a native IOS and Android app making purchasing and managing your policies really easy when you are on the go.
We also offer a number of useful upgrades such as vehicle key replacement, personal accident and campervan and motorhome cover.
Over this period, we have helped over 350,000 customers save money.
GAP insurance (Guaranteed Asset Protection) is our second product vertical under the brand insurethegap.com.
Currently this market is dominated by the garage dealer networks where we believe customers do not get the best value for money products. Insurethegap.com has just launched with a number of very competitively priced products which we will develop further over the coming months.
We have made our products simple to understand and the online experience makes it easy for our customers to buy and make a claim.
We have a very rigorous product development program and have identified a number of exciting verticals which we believe we can develop market leading products offering consumers better cover at competitive premiums.
The first is excessible.com which will offer a number of excess upgrade policies across a whole range of policies giving consumers an affordable way of reducing their costs when making a claim.
This and other new products will be launching over the coming months.
